Obama Birth Certificate

Birth Certificate Gate – It’s a FAKE!

A graphics designer has concocted the new “long-form” version of Obama’s birth certificate.  It is pieced together from who knows what. The background is one piece, the signatures are from something else, etc.  I was curious as to why it has taken so long for Obama to release this and thought it looked suspicious online. Even the “roll” shadow on the left that gives it the appearance of being a photocopy from a book is faked. It comes off in a layer. The American public is NOT STUPID!  I am so sick of the Obama admin thinking they can lie to us left and right and that we will just accept it as fact.  This is CRIMINAL!!!!!

The edit history of those layers can be viewed in Illustrator. https://thesophic.wordpress.com/2011/05/02/the-edit-histo…in-illustrator/

Layers were NOT created with OCR:
I just OCR’d the Birth Certificate at 600dpi. What did I find? Shapes. https://thesophic.wordpress.com/2011/05/02/i-just-ocrd-th…-i-find-shapes/

OCR is a filter/tool for character recognitionnot editing, not for creating layers, etc. I ran a scan. This is what OCR deciphered from the birth certificate: https://thesophic.wordpress.com/ocrers/

  1. You have taken a jpg from an online news post, and–somehow–claim it’s a photoshop file, with the layers still intact, showing all the exact steps of the forgery? Are you insane, or just odd to ask the question: why would a forger post online with all the layers still intact?

Just an idiotic argument. But please, proceed. Just makes the case the birth-ers are indeed, nuts.

    Well done.

I won’t expect you to understand – it’s outside of your grasp. You are not a professional graphics designer. You don’t understand layers, vector files, etc. Ignorance is not a crime – I forgive you. Let me enlighten you a little…
#1. It’s a PDF format file, not a raster JPG.
#2. I never said anything about it being Photoshop. I’m a professional. I don’t use Photoshop for everything – only once in a blue.
#3. They aren’t steps. They are layers.
#4. I haven’t altered the images at all. I separated them out so that regular folks can view all of the layers.
      #5. I’m not a birther.
      #6. Thank you & you’re welcome.

    • I downloaded the PDF directly from the white house site, and performed the same steps within Illustrator. This clearly shows layers and links to images within the file that indicate the file was built, not a single scanned image. I too am not a birther, nor from any political direction. Just someone who’s dealt with graphic files day-in and day-out for the past couple of decades, and knows what’s good and what’s poorly crafted.

  2. You do know that Biden would take his place, right?

  3. I was thinking the same thing. Politics aside, photographically, this document doesn’t seem to make sense. If you study the document more closely in PhotoShop (or similar) the green security patterns are consistently parallel to the edges of the document. However, if you zoom into the left top edges where it says “STATE OF HAWAII” the black lines bend suggesting that the document was copied out of a bound book. Then why would the security background not bend similarly with the black lines and type?

Also, why would there be a security background at all outside of the left side if the document was copied from a bounded book as indicated from the bend on the left side. Furthermore, since the document was copied from a bound book, why would there be the State Registrar stamp at the bottom?

Looks like a forgery to me.
